What kind of award show gives nine awards and the winners don’t give speeches? One of the best awards shows ever, especially for Chevrolet.
The Edmunds.com awards were presented during the 2014 New York International Auto Show. Chevrolet received 9 Edmunds.com awards for 7 different models.
“Today’s Chevrolet lineup is the best in the brand’s history and these awards from Edmunds.com are further proof that we are delivering the expressive designs, easy-to-use technologies, safety and performance that consumers want,” said Brian Sweeney, U.S. vice president, Chevrolet.

How does Edmunds.com choose the winners?
Apparently, Edmunds.com has a lot of time on their hands.
Edmunds.com recently tested 200 cars to find the Top Rated Vehicles being sold today. Using their standardized road-test loop and test track, the cars are subjected to controlled conditions and each vehicle is assessed against its rivals. Once the rankings are decided, a grade is assigned in relation to other vehicles in its class and price range. The cars that perform the best are given an “A” rating and awarded the Top Rated Vehicle Award.
Another honor – the Most Popular Award – is related to the number of unique visitors that visit the model’s pages and reviews at Edmunds.com. The three models in each segment with the most number of distinct visitors win the Most Popular Award.
